The Larry Steele
Basketball Camp is more than a sports camp. It is a great place for any young
basketball enthusiast to improve skills, work hard, make new friends and have a
great camp experience!
We are committed...
Our camp is committed to
helping campers develop and refine their basketball skills in a fun and
supportive environment. Campers learn shooting, passing, dribbling,
rebounding, defense, teamwork and sportsmanship from Coach Larry Steele, a 9-year NBA
player who was on the Portland Trail Blazer NBA World Championship Team in 1977.
Coach Steele and his staff teach these fundamentals in beautiful outdoor surroundings while emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive
and respectful attitude
both on and off the court.
We support all campers...
We welcome players of all abilities at our camps. Once at camp, each camper
will be personally evaluated and placed into a group with other players of
similar age and abilities. This provides a foundation for fundamental
skill development for beginning players and a challenge for advanced players.

Many campers return year after year as players and some have grown
up playing ball and returned to Larry Steele Basketball Camp as
